Sixteen kinds of hospitality business. One set of criteria.
Prepline Capital funds every category of food service and lodging — including bars, nightclubs, hookah lounges and venues doing 100% of their volume in alcohol, which most lenders decline by SIC code. The criteria are the same for all of them: $15,000 a month in deposits, 6 months in business, no minimum credit score for working capital.

Full-service restaurants
Independent dining rooms, chef-driven concepts and multi-unit groups.
- Typical request
- $50,000 – $400,000
- Finances
- Remodels, patio builds, second locations, shoulder-season payroll, equipment.
- Underwriting note
- We size the payment against your slowest month in the statement window, not your average. A 30% gap between February and August is normal here and is not a decline reason.
Quick-service & fast casual
Counter service, drive-thru, pickup windows and franchised fast casual.
- Typical request
- $25,000 – $250,000
- Finances
- Drive-thru and pickup-window builds, kiosks and KDS, a second unit, franchise fees.
- Underwriting note
- High deposit count and low average ticket is a strong file. Franchisees should tell us the brand up front — most national brands are on the SBA Franchise Directory, which opens a cheaper path if the timeline allows.
Pizzerias
Slice shops, delivery-led operations and full-menu Italian rooms.
- Typical request
- $25,000 – $200,000
- Finances
- Deck and conveyor ovens, a delivery fleet, point-of-sale, a second shop.
- Underwriting note
- Pizzerias often run heavy cash. Processor-based lenders can’t see it. We underwrite deposits, so it counts toward your approval.
Bars & taverns
Neighborhood bars, taverns, sports bars and liquor-led rooms.
- Typical request
- $30,000 – $300,000
- Finances
- Q4 liquor builds, draft and glycol systems, bar rebuilds, license renewals, buyouts.
- Underwriting note
- Approved. A liquor-heavy revenue mix is not a decline reason here.
Nightclubs & lounges
Late-night venues, lounges and promoter-driven rooms.
- Typical request
- $50,000 – $500,000
- Finances
- Sound and lighting, build-outs, security, seasonal staffing, promoter guarantees.
- Underwriting note
- Approved, including venues at 100% alcohol sales. Expect us to ask about weekday/weekend concentration and to structure a weekly payment rather than daily.
Breweries, taprooms & wineries
Production breweries, taprooms, cideries and urban wineries.
- Typical request
- $50,000 – $750,000
- Finances
- Fermenters and brite tanks, canning lines, cold storage, taproom build-outs, distribution.
- Underwriting note
- Production equipment is a strong equipment-financing asset — 60 to 72 months. Self-distribution receivables may qualify for a factoring facility alongside it.
Coffee shops & cafés
Independent cafes, roasters and multi-location coffee bars.
- Typical request
- $15,000 – $150,000
- Finances
- Espresso machines and grinders, roasters, a second location, build-out.
- Underwriting note
- $15,000/month in deposits is the floor, and a single-unit café often sits just above it. Send four months if any one of them is light.
Bakeries & dessert shops
Retail bakeries, dessert shops and wholesale producers.
- Typical request
- $20,000 – $250,000
- Finances
- Deck ovens, sheeters, proofers, display cases, wholesale capacity.
- Underwriting note
- If you wholesale to grocery or other restaurants, those invoices may be factorable — often cheaper than an advance.
Caterers & off-premise
Off-premise catering, drop-off and full-service event catering.
- Typical request
- $25,000 – $500,000
- Finances
- Food cost on large contracts, vans and hot-hold, staffing for the season, rentals.
- Underwriting note
- If you’re routinely waiting net-30 or net-45 on corporate accounts, factoring fits better than an advance. Ask for both and compare.
Banquet halls & event venues
Banquet halls, wedding venues, conference and event spaces.
- Typical request
- $50,000 – $750,000
- Finances
- AV, furniture, kitchen expansion, deposit-season working capital, parking and grounds.
- Underwriting note
- Deposit-heavy, revenue-lumpy. We read booked-event deposits as forward revenue when you show us the calendar.
Food trucks & mobile vendors
Trucks, trailers, carts and multi-unit mobile fleets.
- Typical request
- $50,000 – $200,000
- Finances
- The truck or trailer built out, generators, commissary fees, a second unit, wraps.
- Underwriting note
- The truck finances as equipment over 36 to 72 months. A brick-and-mortar operator adding a truck usually qualifies on the restaurant’s statements.
Ghost & commissary kitchens
Delivery-only brands, commissaries and shared production kitchens.
- Typical request
- $25,000 – $300,000
- Finances
- Station build-outs, packaging, delivery-platform working capital, additional brands.
- Underwriting note
- Third-party delivery payouts land as deposits and count. If you produce for other restaurants, that B2B side may be factorable.
Hotels, motels & B&Bs
Independent and flagged lodging, including F&B outlets.
- Typical request
- $75,000 – $2,000,000
- Finances
- PIP and franchise-mandated renovations, roof and HVAC, F&B outlet build-outs, OTA gaps.
- Underwriting note
- Strong seasonality is expected. We underwrite the trough. Group and conference receivables may support a factoring facility alongside working capital.
Hookah & cigar lounges
Hookah lounges, cigar bars and smoking-permitted venues.
- Typical request
- $25,000 – $250,000
- Finances
- Build-outs, ventilation, inventory, licensing, expansion.
- Underwriting note
- Approved. This category is declined almost universally elsewhere; it is not declined here.
Franchise restaurant groups
Single-unit franchisees through multi-brand development groups.
- Typical request
- $150,000 – $5,000,000
- Finances
- New units, remodels and brand-mandated image upgrades, FF&E packages, acquisitions.
- Underwriting note
- Tell us the brand first. SBA Franchise Directory listing is what makes the franchise fee financeable, and it changes which product we start with.
Golf, country club & contract dining
Private clubs, golf clubhouses and institutional contract dining.
- Typical request
- $50,000 – $1,000,000
- Finances
- Clubhouse F&B renovations, kitchen replacement, seasonal working capital, carts.
- Underwriting note
- Member-dues receivables and institutional contracts are both factorable. If your season is five months, send us all twelve.
What a restaurant needs to qualify.
Every number below is a real criterion. If you clear these, apply. If you don’t, call us and we’ll tell you what would change it.
| Minimum monthly revenue | $15,000 in business bank deposits |
|---|---|
| Minimum time in business | 6 months |
| Minimum credit score | None for working capital, equipment financing, or factoring. 600+ for a line of credit. 650+ for a term loan. 680+ for SBA. |
| Funding range | $10,000 to $2,000,000 for working capital and equipment. Up to $5,000,000 for term loans, SBA, and factoring facilities. |
| Time to a real offer | About 4 business hours on a complete file. |
| Time to funding | 24 hours. Same day if a clean file is signed before 11:00 AM ET. |
| Documents required | Application plus your 3 most recent months of business bank statements. 4 months if your business is seasonal. |
| Contract length | 2 pages. |
| Repayment | Fixed daily or weekly ACH from your operating account. No POS split funding. No holdback percentage. No lockbox. |
| Prepayment discount | Up to 30% off the remaining balance when a working capital advance is paid off within the first 30, 60, or 90 days. |
| Cash sales | Counted. We underwrite bank deposits, not card volume alone. |
| POS requirement | None. Toast, Square, Clover, Aloha, Micros, Lightspeed, SpotOn, or a cash drawer — it makes no difference to underwriting. |
| Hospitality types approved | Full-service and quick-service restaurants, pizzerias, bars, taverns, nightclubs, breweries and taprooms, coffee shops, bakeries, caterers, event and banquet venues, food trucks and mobile vendors, ghost kitchens, hotels, motels, B&Bs, hookah lounges, and franchise restaurant groups. |
| Not required | Collateral for working capital. A business plan. Tax returns under $500,000. A specific POS. A minimum number of locations. A liquor license — but we fund venues that hold one. |
| Open to | U.S. businesses with a U.S. business bank account. All 50 states. |
Four minutes. Three bank statements. No credit impact to apply.
Questions by hospitality type.
Do you fund bars, nightclubs and hookah lounges?
Yes. Bars, taverns, nightclubs, lounges, hookah and cigar lounges, breweries, taprooms, and venues doing 100% of their volume in alcohol are all approved at Prepline Capital. Most lenders decline these categories by SIC code. We underwrite them like any other hospitality file.
Are the criteria different by hospitality type?
No. The same criteria apply to all sixteen types: $15,000 a month in business bank deposits, 6 months in business, and no minimum credit score for working capital, equipment financing, or factoring. What changes by type is which product fits and how the payment is structured.
Do you fund food trucks?
Yes. A built-out food truck or trailer runs $50,000 to $200,000 and finances as equipment over 36 to 72 months. A brick-and-mortar operator adding a truck usually qualifies on the restaurant’s existing bank statements.
Do you fund hotels and motels?
Yes. Typical hotel, motel and B&B requests run $75,000 to $2,000,000 for PIP and franchise-mandated renovations, roof and HVAC, and F&B outlet build-outs. Strong seasonality is expected and we underwrite the trough, not the peak.
My restaurant is heavily cash. Does that hurt me?
No — it helps, here. Prepline Capital underwrites business bank deposits rather than a processor feed, so cash deposits count toward your approval. A neighborhood bar or pizzeria running 20 to 40% of volume in cash is invisible to a POS-embedded lender and fully visible to us.
Your category is on the list.
Including the four most lenders decline. $15,000 a month, six months open, no minimum FICO for working capital.
